bOpus Account and Service Alerts — Text Messaging Terms

Program and sender

• Program name: bOpus Account and Service Alerts.
• Sender: bOpus, Inc. (bopus.ai). Messages may come from a bOpus toll-free or local 10-digit number.
• Products covered: Ai.Downtime, KnowHow and BackPlan.

Message types

Messages are about your account and your service only. bOpus does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

• Account and service notifications.
• Operational alerts, such as line-down alerts from Ai.Downtime.
• Page activity notifications from KnowHow.
• Meeting reminders from BackPlan.
• Replies to your customer support requests.
• One-time sign-in codes, sent only when you request one at sign-in.

How you opt in

You opt in by checking the optional text-message consent box, which is never pre-checked, in your product settings, on a bopus.ai web form, or on the onboarding form, or by written or verbal consent recorded during onboarding. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or using any bOpus product or service. The consent wording is shown at bopus.ai/sms-opt-in.

Message frequency and cost

• Message frequency varies and is set by the alerts and notifications you turn on. A user who turns on line-down alerts may receive several messages a day during an outage; a user with only meeting reminders may receive a few a month.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

How to opt out

• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number. You will receive one final confirmation message.
• Turn off text notifications in your account settings.
• Email support@bopus.ai.
• To opt back in, reply START to the same number or turn the setting back on.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your information

Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties. How we handle your mobile number is described in section 9A of our Privacy Policy and in section 10.3 of the Performance Cloud Subscription Agreement.
